Homes for Sale in Boaz, WV
Boaz is a small riverfront town along the Ohio River’s southern side in Wood County, West Virginia. The census-designated place is located between the cities of Vienna and Williamstown, centered along Williams Highway. The town has a land area of 4.5 square miles and was founded in 1878 when resident William Johnson decided Boaz’s name from three others. Today Boaz is a mostly residential community with various businesses along its main street. Residents enjoy a welcoming small-town feel with convenient access to many business and industrial centers along the Ohio River.
There is a wide variety of real estate options and price ranges available to buyers considering purchasing a home in the community. These residences are priced between $700,000 to $900,000 and were built recently, making them some of the most sought-after properties in the Mid Ohio Valley. However, the bulk of the supply in the community is the ranch-style homes lining the suburban streets in the town center. These homes come primarily ranch-style residences, but there are some custom home builds available as well. Home prices here average around the $200,000 price point.
